Heres my tune,

TD04H 15g Turbo with TurboSmart MBC running 16 PSI
Custom Dual exit DP
550cc Mazda Cosmo injectors ( purple tops )
Stock fuel pump and fuel lines.
Rewired Flyin Miata Link mark I ECU with latest software and air temp and Knock sensors also mark II map sensor
Mitsi evo 5 BOV
Nissan 200sx Front mount intercooler with DYI plumbing and Corky Bell air dam
Simota pod filter with cold air routing
Madaz BFMR B6T Rods
ACL race series bearings
Port and polished head and re-profiled combustion chambers
Special head gasket
Revised Cam profiles
Stock valve springs with oversized valves and seats
Ridiculously lightened fly wheel ( thanks CSL NZ Awesome job! )
HD clutch kit
2.5" exhaust with Trust rear silencer.

I will have to dyno this set up. It might be interesting!

Hi , reading your list of hardware i see you have the early Link ECU with the latest FM chip etc.
With your tune do you have a set of printable or emailable settings for the fuel and timing settings ?
I have an early Link that needs adjusting, the reload settings seem worse than the original seettings when i got the car, so I am looking for the data as a base line setings, that is some one peplies to my wanted add for a hand controller .
thanks

:D :D

link tuning

Post by jif » Sat Feb 28, 2009 3:56 pm

Hi Cappo1

I could help with a few pointers for the Link if u like - a wideband is super useful. The FMLink tuning manual is also quite good, as are their rich and retarded defaults (ie safe)

I'll see if the guy who bought mine wants to part with the handcontroller or serial box.. dont think he even touches them!

Have you taken photos of what you did to the combustion chambers etc?
What lift etc have you used for the cams and are you using standard lifters or solid lifters?
Having a look at what you did to the ports would be good too!

Hi there Growler, sorry no pics. I am not going to release the cam profile specs, but you can well imagine they are low overlap. I am using new hydraulic lifters. Sorry to be secretive!
