i got made redundant a week ago, just as i was about to chuck a 70,000 km 1.6 in my car, i have a feeling my clutch will need replacing, just wondering if someone has a hd clutch theyve pulled out of their wreck and storing for someone like me to take off their hands

oem from partsmaster will cost me 258
any suggestions would be appreciated, and offers even moreso

cheers

As long as you have a flywheel an 1800 pop's right in. That gives you more clamping diameter and more clutch options. I have an 1800 flywheel, plate and pressure plate spare but they belong to someone else. I'll ask if I can pass it on.

the pressure plates are usually okin terms of clamp pressure.

maybe just put in a 6 paddle or 4 paddle center if you want a "hd" clutch on a budget.Get you r flywheel shaved while your at it.

I got my 1800 HD clutch from Don at autoways for about $300 at the time.

so i replace the engine, car idles perfect, but has no omph, like the timings real retarded, but its at 12-14 degrees, im getting over 40psi fuel pressure, and as far as i can tell im getting spark

my 4th sparkplug is a lil dirty, but if i run the engine on 3 cyl by unplugging a spark plug lead, it doesnt matter what one i unplug the engine sounds the same while revving... dying

i did have a blocked fuel filter, but thats fixed now

ideas
suggestions?
possibly a dead injector?
