Does anyone know how much backlash between crownwheel and pinion there should be in a 1.8 diff? I'm just putting in a new LSD and the Miata Enthusiasts Manual chickens out on diff rebuilds.

Keith.

My manual (1.8) says backlash: side and pinion gears 0 - 0.1mm
Ring gear 0.09 - 0.11mm
