hehe...
Dont hold your breath. Becoming very popular you know.
If you really cant wait you can piece together a kit reasonably cheaply by using a Greddy manifold USD$140. use a used Nissan silvia t25 turbo ($500)from tardme. A flyin miata fuel pressure regulator($350) and some custom Ic pipes and exhaust....You can piece together a cheap system for about $2K if you do a bit yourself.

Had a look at one myself and it looked to be a good deal. Trouble is a lot of sellers won't ship to NZ or else want you to pay via Western Union - thats a good way to lose your $$. I know from experience having lost the deposit on a motorbikeMatBat wrote:Cheers Slydit,
Looking on ebay there are some US kits at US$1000 (so about NZ$1350ish) not sure what the import tax on that would be though. Any ideas on the quality of these kits?
No "Import Tax" as such - just GST at 12.5% based on purchase price PLUS freight PLUS insurance. The purchase price is whats written on the docket so if its not too stupid its possible to "shade" the cost a tad

WANTED: Turbo Kit
Congratulations, that seems like a fair price.
Anthony.
Anthony.
I'm SOOOO stoked, it's been the only thing I've been hanging out for.
I'm quite happy with the price, I might get the turbo re-cond though just for safety measures. I'm going to have a fun week fitting the thing!

Congratulations on the new purchase!
The kit looks like good value for money.
On top of having the turbo reconditioned (always a good idea) can I
suggest that you make some cuts in the manifold - The Greddy is well
known to crack once it's hot and its easier to get it done now before
you start installing it (and it's a project you can start now!!!!).
This is not saying that it's a bad manifold - simply that the cast units
need the relief cuts in order to expand.
I have them on my FM3 manifold and was also going to put them on my HKS
unit before I sold it.
This graphic comes from 15PSI.com and shows where he made his cuts -
Personally I would avoid the corner most cuts for strength reasons - but
would follow the others as a guide.
Other than that - good luck with the build.

Well, the kit arrived yesterday lunchtime, all is there however I discovered some hairine cracks in the manfold so it's currently being repaired and also given relief cuts. So hopefully today will be the day for getting things done! I've also been helping Biff with his turbo install and it's going okay so far.

Hey there...
Well done...
Looks like I'm going to have to invest in some ITBs for my car, seeing you and Biff are both doing turbos! Don't want to be passed at Ruapuna, if it is your intention to venture out there???
Konis/RB springs now fitted, adj sway bar links arrived from the States yesterday!
Cheers, Ian
