Yes!! for those who give a hoot and have been following the build - the turbo is now in and running.

I had some problems with the BOV - fixed with a new upgraded turbosmart VTA unit, and HUGE problems with the elecs once I installed the Wideband (incorrectly) - Thanks to Steve from Milford Auto Electrical - seriously if you have problems and are in Auckland - go there - they are second to none.

Anyway it sytarted first time - idled perfect. Now its just a matter of having the rest of the muffler (HKS) fitted and I'm off to be certed - oh and the dyno!!!

Still waiting to do the cret. Insurance was a breeze with AMI – thanks for the recommendation. I passed onto the Manager that the MX5 club forums put me onto them – they at least seem to have heard of the club.

Fully comp with a turbo (yeah baby) - $400 per annum.
