Turbo Water Cooling

Post by poison » Fri Nov 17, 2006 9:22 am

I’m looking at plumbing in the water cooling into the turbo, any thoughts about where to buy all the appropriate fittings and hoses?

Cheers

Indeed …

For the return line you can just use fuel line (its not under pressure) – available from any Repco – or hell you can even pick it up with your fluffy dice at SuperCheap.

Shop around. Greenlane are bloody expensive!
You could try Cardwells (Auckland) as well...or grab a copy of the free "Hot Rod" type newspaper (Petrolhead magazine...I think it is called) that you can get at most car related businesses. They have a ton of suppliers there.

Try aeroquip, pirtek, or hydralink first..they will be cheaper.. the hardest part to get is the nipple( ) that threads into the turbo to adapt the standard hydraulic or "AN" hose fittings.....on my turbo its a 12mmX1.5mm thread which is as rare as rocking horse compost!

but as said before it aint cheap..budget for around $200 get the bits to add water cooling.
