I would be interested to hear what sort of fuel economy others are achieving in (NZ) cars fitted with a supercharger. Both around town and on the open road. I manage about 320km per tank around town.

hmm, well turbo here ... a shade over 10 km/l thrashing around town = 480km from a tank.
Divide kms by litres next time you fill up... the tank has nearly 10 litres left when on the lowest mark so it's conservative, not accurate!

JR supercharger at 6lb, taking it easy, and not using boost too much about 10L / per 100km of mixed town and motoway, 30+L / per 100km on the track.

did you get your bad running/idle issues sorted David? what was the cause?

Last time I spoke to David was a couple or three months back & he was looking at getting an ECU, not sure if he did. That was about the same time I got my Greddy Blue.

turbo here again
but im sure im using less gas than i did without the turbo
i dont know whether i am able to shift earlier now or the fact that i have a better tune off boost (idle) still have to idle at 1100 revs but its better than 1400 the cams are giving me headaches i guess ill sort it one day

30 L/100km is sure sucking through it, I thought I'd done well getting my standard Mk1 to 16.1 L/100km on track!
