^^^ THIS^^^^

my mx has 200 hp ATW and its decently fast. driven a 260HPATW MX and its INSANE for a road car.
the TD04 turbo'd mx with 200ish WHP is going to be plenty for the street. a 1600 will make 200WHP all day/year long...an 1800 will do 240WHP all day /year long. my cars been turbo'd for 10 years at 200WHP and i havent opened her up at all. changed the plugs and oil and thats it.

the mx is not a 1600kg skyline that needs mega hp to make it move.

Using the Mini Supercharger or a Sc14 Supercharger
You're looking at around 180-190hp at the wheels (depending on exhaust) with a Water/Meth Injection kit - or REALLY well designed intercooler.
Not massive power - but a good spread of torque throughout the rev range.

Pales in comparison when you can easily get 240-250hp at the wheels with a turbo setup running similar boost but comes down to preference.

The Mini Supercharger is a bit more expensive but makes a beautiful whining noise when on song - which is music to any gearhead.

Not sure
Never really fuddled around with that sort of setup as time spent on sub-par setups just wastes money that could be spent doing it properly
I'm sure Dr Google will be able to help though. :)

We can use the Mini R45 blower
It's slightly smaller but spins faster than the Sc14 so makes more power
But anything over 190hp at the wheels and you have to go turbo
As for power figures - if you email me at
MEGASQUIRT@FARMSIDE.CO.NZ
I can send through some dynosheets of my Turbo Mx5 Racecar that makes around 400 engine hp

We just do a drive in -drive out (wheelspin out) package - which includes everything needed
ECU, injectors, intercooler, manifold, downpipe, HD clutch , oil lines, oil drain, turbo, driveshaft loop , blowoff valve etc and of course labour and dynotuning
Don't need a wideband but we can fit one
Don't need a boost gauge but we can fit one.
ECU can control boost - or can fit a bleed valve and solenoid to run a High/Low Boost switch - which is quite popular

Nope - unless you want to run NOS
Even 200kw ATW is a lot for a Turbo B6
You need to take a 150kw ATW MX5 for a drive first - you might be surprised
200kw ATW is almost too much for a streetcar

Nope
The power is determined by the supercharger rather than the engine
If you want 200kw ATW - then you need an Eaton M90 which is huge and will poke through the bonnet which will make you look silly, get attention from the police, use lots off fuel and cost plenty to install

you have a Nb1800 with 6 speed
Turbo is a natural progression and will make and handle 200kw ATW piece of piss. - and be a really and I mean REALLY fast car.
Easily 12 second 1/4 miles and crap over 99% of cars on the street.

This aint the 1950's mate
The T3/4 is a piece of shit diesel turbo that was designed in 1951 and is probably the worst turbo on the market
I struggle to comprehend why people still bolt them onto engines
Although it's normally Nissan owners which is self-explainatory
A nice Subaru Td05-16g will easily make 200kw ATW on just 16psi be super reliable and will spool up 1500 rpm faster than an old clunker T3/4 turbo
And at $550 brand new is a bit of a no-brainer
