aluminium radiators
Alright boes.
I cracked my radiator last night (shit plastic)
Whats the best sub $400 aluminium radiator I can buy for my 1990 NA6CE?
Quite a few on tardme all of varying prices. People say get 'welded' over 'pressed' but the tardme ones dont generally list the difference...... Halp!

so i rang redline in auckland, and they're shipping me a 52mm alloy rad for $260 including overnight shipping to wellington. che!

Couple questions:
* REDBEN – is your radiator you got from FENIX for '$280 including GST' pressed or welded?
* The ones being sold by speed_master from Aussie for $279 are they pressed or welded?
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =566991964
* Bwarp – is the item you got from Redline for '$260 including overnight shipping to wellington' pressed or welded.
Are they all twin core, whats the story here… whats best, single or twin and which ones are single or twin of the above?
As usual the plethora of choice makes buying an ordeal

i dunno if pressed or welded. and for now i dont really care. haha. i just want the car running again. Considering it was $260 with overnight courier for a 52mm core alluminium radiator and $190 for a second hand standard mx5 radiator from Gaskin ford and mazda.... it seems ridiculouys not to get the alloy one

Fenix are making it a bit tricky, for sure... their email contact listed on their website is a fail also, used the link to Adrian at Fenix ET and it's no good:
http://www.fenixautopart.com/contacts.a ... sid=006001
I forwarded Aussie the response asking my email request be sent to Fenix Auckland's most appropriate person & i will advise of any result.
