Don at autoway services has done this conversion.

off the top of my head it required:
-New front engine subframe welded to the cross member.
gearbox was frankensteined with a mx5 rear and rx front housings.
-Firewall had some massaging to clear the engine.(crankshaft center sits higher in a rotary)
-low pressure fuel regulator for the carb

He had it for sale . maybe it still is?

I have a 1989 NA MX5. Will be building a 13B bridgeport engine.
The gearbox i am using is out of a 1994 FD RX7 with FC bellhousing.
I am using TII diff and half shaft. Will be running a 4 barrel nikki carburetor
and will go injection and turbo late next year.

I am also doing a rotary conversion. How ever , I have gone with a Injected 12a.

Any chance of putting up some pic of your engine mounts? I have mine mounted already but stikll like to see how others did it. And did you make a new gear box crossmember or some how intergrate the mx5 torsion bar?
