Interesting what i just read on the miata net turbo installation proceedure!
Don’t use header wrap, as it causes the manifold to crack. Using header wrap will void your warranty.
I assume they mean the asbestos bandage?

Stainless steel and cast iron will crack when bandy'd if given a bit of heated, prolonged, fun driving, you can however wrap mild steel, just make sure you use a suitable anti rust coating before the wrapture .
