Targa NZ video on Youtube

Post by Euen » Wed May 27, 2009 11:49 am

I finally got around to uploading a couple of in-car videos from 2008 Dunlop Targa NZ. (gotta keep the sponsors happy)

First one is from Stage 16 behind Marton. This is the famous Cop Corner stage. Starts out open and fast then tightens up in the middle until Cop Corner and then opens out again. We were caught and passed at the end of the open section by a guy in a Holden 3.8 V6 powered Scimitar however through the tight stuff he couldn't get away and confessed afterwards he thought I was going to try and repass him. Once the stage opened out again he pulled away from us.

Second one is Paekakariki Hill Road first time through, before the rain started. This time we caught the Scimitar.

Enjoy.

Thanks Anthony

Yes, have entered Rotorua. Quite looking forward to it. Are you guys doing it?

It made quite a nice change to park the car after the Bambina without having to do too much to it.
