'For Sale' adverts without prices
(Hastily worded on iPhone - Mods feel free to move to 'Suggestions Section' if deemed more appropriate.)
Is this ok, to post For Sale adverts but not have an asking price??
I think myself its totally bloody useless to advertise w/out a price.
The last 2 FS adverts are devoid of any asking price.
This situation pisses me off, and it is also I.Ronic as a few days ago over my bra listing I got reprimanded by the Constabulary, the price was stated in dollar terms 4 times ($100) while in the 'Price' section I had stated '$100 BIG ONES' for a total of 5 statements of asking price. But this was not good enough??
What do others think? I think price should be mandatory.
If its ok on this board to post For Sale adverts without price I for one will cease to view the For Sale adverts entirely which will make a difference as I have bought over 10 of the recent listings.
Useful comment please?

Lol, thats funny, actually, wow.... have just noticed mine drop a few 'points' after bitching about threads full of stupid animals & lack of prices in For Sale posts, so that narrows the field down in terms of who bothers to 'plus' & 'minus' users. The Karma feature is quite interesting actually but more than likely indicative of nothing useful.

as has mine, but I don't really care as the karma feature means little and I gauge things on a post by post nature. even chris with -21 has relevant things to say
back on topic, I also hate it when someone is selling something and has a figure in mind but always says "make an offer"..... if you know how much you want, in my opinion just spit it out.

Agreed. I'd rather have the person state what they want, than make an offer and them get all offended. You own it, you must know what its worth?
In most cases anyway, as above if its a hard one to price, i.e a rare part then a ballpark figure would be fine or even make a thread and ask people what they think.
Most things with no prices I tend to ignore.

+1
Someone should remove the 'For Sale' post seeking 'offers' for a soft top then... who's the moderator? If you want to sell something on a forum like this you need to state a price, no price is just fuc**n unhelpful not to mention plain rude:)

A for sale ad should have a price.
