I like the NC but it's just a little too expensive for me.
Since owning my NA, I have to say it's now my favourite.

Flippy headlights!
Love NA's for their looks but love NB's for their drivetrain and its much easier to do a drive train swap into an NA than a body panel swap onto an NB so i went for an NA
Also NA's are cheaper to buy

When I first liked MX5's it was the NA, then later I decided the NB.
Now you just can't beat the NA, I love my pop up headlights, I've been planning on getting low pro style ones for ages but it gives the car that look having stupidly tall pop up head lights on a small car.
Plus the NA is cheap, and I'm cheap.

I couldn't agree more
I do however miss not having the upgraded mechanical components that the later models have as standard.

Pop-ups are the main ingredient for checkiness and winking.
Also blind attacks.

The kids both young and old love the flip up lights. Its great when a youngster is standing in front of your car and you flip them up. the look of astonishment on their face is priceless. even more priceless if you have a PA and can blast out some radical noises a them. You can insert halogens into them If not satisfied with lumen output. At end of the day it seems that most people here tend to trick their chariots up wit their own personal desires.

I love my NA like there is no tomorrow but i do have a soft spot for NBs. When they are modded right they can look so unique.

Having owned both an NA and now an NB, I like the NB better....it just feels a lot better put together and is far more muscular in it's stance.
Ex: 1991 BRG NA6, 1998 White RS, 1997 Wine Merlot M Edition

Prefer NA myself,Hence i have a NA,Early 1600's at that 91-94,Got the better Long nose crank motor.
NA 1800's don't seem to pull as hard,I know they have more power and better torque.
NB's are OK
But too much electrical gear to mess with for fun's sake,Try putting a non airbag steering wheel on..legally.
Do like the fact your can put the updated suspension in and upgrade a NA easily with them.
NC,Bloated ...,For older people who want a softop but don't want play with it.
Never seen anyone NOT with grey hair driving one.
As with everything cars, each generation gets a little bigger and more gear added until the original concept has been regulated out.
IMO

I think they've all got their charms. I think you only see people with grey hair driving NCs because they are still all quite expensive. I'd definitely have one, while they are a bit heavier, they are also a bit more powerful.
