MX5 inspired SINN watch

Some of you know I am a watch dealer and one of my watch buddies just pointed me to this SINN watch w/ Mazda connections...

Sinn released a limited edition of 300 pieces of a Mazda design chronograph back in 2007.

This watch was designed by Hasip Girgin, one of the main Mazda car designers, and is new in box.

The square design with rounded angles design is used on purpose and reflects one of the key elements also used in the design of the Mazda cars. This design is reflected in the case, dial and hands of this watch and reminds us of the shape of the back lights, doors and airholes of a Mazda MX-5.

The robust rubber strap show the tyre profile of the Mazda.

Very nicely decorated automatic Valjoux 7750 chronograph movement.

It comes with a full two year warranty and is presented in a very nice wooden presentation box.

This sparked my interest as I like SINN, my personal daily wearer from the last 3 years as been a (Japanese) Seiko on a (German) SINN rubber Strap/BIG Deployant combo... SINN make tough no nonsense watches in general aka 'Tool Watches' and I was a bit impressed to see this particular collaboration

Wow - the watch is worth more than the ePrey selling price - surprised it did not go up, I could have bought this and made some cash
