Hills between Blenheim and Nelson are pretty sweet.

First post!
My GF just last night agreed to purchase an 1800. Heading to Welly Friday to pick it up.
Plenty of good roads here, a good cruise is to Mot via the Moutere highway, then inland via Mot valley. Can then either nip back over the Spooners, or head through Golden downs and come back in via Wakefield (But haven't been that way in years and a little rusty on the route)
I have a sneaky suspicion that after driving the ladys one I might be after one myself

My gf has a cooler car than me

Mr Revhead, congrats on your first post!
I like the drive through the Motueka valley down to Lake Rotoiti and then back through Woodbourne and Blenheim, a bit longer but a nice ride on a sunny day. The road back to Nelson is great too...
Don't feel bad your GF has a cooler ride than you, if you're nice to her she might even let you have a turn, .....after the first 10,000 ks

Also, anyone in the Nelson area keep an eye out for MX FVE, a 1999 anniversary car, this is the ex president of the Nat Club and he's just moved to the area, am sure he and his wife would be chuffed to get a wave when they are out and about in the 5.

I have a red NA (1989) and silver Alpha mirrors from KG-Works on the both side. Paint work is not good but runs well. My white wheels are normally very dirty

. It's my daily drive.
Wave me, I 'll wave back!

Do a trip mid-late Jan and I should be able to hopefully have a running car and time off work to join. Always wanted to take my car around the South Island
