So I was browsing the e-nets as you do when all of a sudden I lost connection. Now I still don't have an icon saying I have internet access, yet I can access 3 websites, this one, trademe and the nz locost website. Whats up with that?

Hmm, well assuming you are not just browsing pages that are already cached to your computer, then perhaps what has happened is that you have loat the ability to browse international web-sites.
This could be an issue speciifc to your ISP and I would expect regular service to resume shortly
