funny - not at the time though

Last Christmas while away on holidays, we got a call from our neighbour - my
wife's mother (bless her) was OK, but the house, fence & car was a bit of a
mess ...
Transpires that she had started her 323, which had then "all of its own
accord" shot backwards out of the (fortunately - Gazza !) open garage door,
hit the fence at the side of our property, then "all of its own accord" shot
forward again, into the garage until it was stopped by the garage access
door & frame at the back of the garage.
Apparently as the car was moving forward after hitting the fence she managed
to wind the window down & throw the keys out ... why, I don't know.
Anyway - she wasn't hurt, the car was written off, the insurance people were
great, the house & fence were fixed & she now has a new car with gear
selector / foot brake interlock.
Just shows that you can't trust those rampant 323's !
Regards,
Greg
PS - Nigel - I think yours still takes the cake !
