Hand up - hood up

Have just got back from a lovely drive Rotorua/Taupo to Orewa via Waingaro in
the bright sunshine. I confess I stopped after the bridge and put my hood up
because the sunscreen had run out!

Less happy on the way down was SH27 where the resurfacing is so intense that
even driving at 15kph on the new sections I have any number of stone chips on
the sills and on the right wing where cars coming the other way pinged me. The
guy who really upset me was the Honda Odyssey driver who overtook at 50 (sp 30
limit)and sprayed the rest of the car too. He did it to several other people
too - perhaps he owns a windscreen repair franchise?
