Change gearbox oil

When I was working in a Mazda workshop many moons ago early '80s in NL ,
with rearwheel drive mazda's like .. ( 1300-808-616-929 ) simular
gearboxes as MX5 .. ...I replaced the gearbox oil from new cars straight
away when they came in , and replaced it with SAE 80 , ...from that day
we didn't have any "warranty 2 nd and 3 synchro's " any more , while
other mazda dealers had still problems with there clients ...I saved the
company a few dollars in these days .

I am going to replace my oil as well for a thinner one.

OK guys I think I'll change the oil but it has to come out anyway during the
flywheel swap so will do a double swap.
