Where to get good driving gloves??

Post by MX5PWR » Sun Jul 31, 2005 2:44 pm

Hi Glenn, I have a pair of Windstopper gloves fromKathmandu which have pads
on the palm side. They are nice and light and kkep the hands warm. Have been
well tested on previous snowball runs.

Cheers Nige

Hi, Glenn

I got mine at The Outdoorsman in Rotorua (which may not help you much ...).
Suede leather outer with polyester inner. Cost about $40 a year ago & have
proved very effective.

Depending on the type of steering wheel on your car, it may pay to take them
for a "test drive" for grip, flexibility & overall comfort. Some I tried
were too bulky & inflexible. Some were slippery on the wood finish on my
wheel. (And some were just right ...)

Ability to adjust ventilation settings & at least the major controls on your
stereo without taking them off may also be a consideration.
