If someone out there has fitted KYB non-adjustables (GR-2) on an NA mx5 can
you confirm if you had to drill out the D-shaped hole in the rear top mount?
I am pretty sure I've been sold the wrong shocks and the part numbers don't
add up, but I'd like to be sure for when I take them back. Next time I'll
check _before_ I remove the existing shocks
Thanks,
Simon

I fitted adjustable KYB-AGX shocks to my 5 all round and they bolted
straight in (adjustable by external knob) no alterations at all.
Go to the following address and see if the part numbers are correct for your
model (make).

Good luck

KYB non-adjustables

My NA has KYB Hillclimb shocks on it - that's how it was when I bought it.
You're more than welcome to take a look at how the install has ended up, but
I've no idea how it was done. Not sure if that helps. I'll be at the tech
day tomorrow.
Regards,
Greg

Thanks, Greg, but I'm at the wrong end of the island. The problem is solved,
the store just got one digit wrong on the part number when they ordered the
shocks.
