Fuel Consumption

There has been a lot of discussion over the years on fuel consumption so just
to add to that on Saturday's Taranaki Tarmac rally my stock (still with full
interior trim, radio and air con!) 1990 MX5 used 43.97 litres over 290 km (147
km's of specials and 143 of touring). If the maths if correct that's 15.162
L/100 km or 15.51 mpg.

That's actually 18.63 mpg for us old fogies!

Or calculate the km/l and multiply by 2.825. ie 290/43.97*2.825

yes but i here the beast was the lexus powerd ute .started 118th finished
