Targa Tauranga

Just returned from a brilliant weekend driving the Andy's Screenprint/MX5Mart
MX5 on the Targa Tauranga maintaining the model's participation on recent
Targa events. The car is basically a stock 1990 1600 (even has the radio
casette and air con still installed!) so it became a bit breathless at times -
I saw over 6500rpm in 5th several times. The event was very quick but there
were still parts of most stages that were tight enough for the smaller cars.
Fabulous fun. I understand there could be at least 2 MX5's on the main Targa
again this year (but not me unless someone with a deep cheque book wants to
co-drive).
