You just don't understand, but Gazza knows that silver is the fastest colour
!!!

I've owned both a silver MX5 (in CA) and a BRG MX5 (in NZ)... and both
are equally fast with me behind the wheel! :)))

I reckon the " Evolution Orange" ( also the Dutch national colour )
is the fastest colour ... the Police keeps an eye on me now, might
respray it . we can better start thinking investing in a decent Radar jam
device ...any experience of these Guys ??? or a bazooka !!

the " Flying Dutchman"

Dear Bert

A couple of letter from the UK Daily Telegraph that might interest you. To
understand the firsat one you need to know that the UK's demerit points
system only goes up to 12. To understand the second you need a lobotomy.

Tailgating remedies
From Mr Dick Darke
Sir, Tired of tailgaters, a friend and I have produced a rear window car
sticker which shows a tortoise and the letters "NinePointsThatsWhy.com".
Whilst we are still overtaken it is now by drivers who smile and wave, and
no longer "push" us as before.
Yours faithfully,
R. S. DARKE,
Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire
From Mr James H. Hauser
Sir, Unlike Mr Guy de la Bedoyere (letter, May 19) I do not find being
tailgated unpleasant. I drive at the speed limit for the express purpose of
forcing would-be speeders to do the same.
One stretch of road I drive on is a long curve around an open field,
allowing me a chance to take a quick look behind and see how many tailgaters
I have collected. My record is 13.
Yours,
JAMES H. HAUSER,
PO Box 5814 Bloomington, Indiana IN 47407

Hi Simon & Bill,

This brings a certain "Meatloaf" song to mind, "You took the words right out
of my mouth"!

No, as having driven a friend's black MX5, it was just as fast as the
silver and BRG MX5 when I was behind the wheel :)

I really like the blue mx5 but my current one is red and to be honest i
think its faster, however just to throw a spanner in the works here i have
found a mod that eliminates the need for speed.

I have recently fitted full face 17 inch chrome mags to my red car and now
need to drive slowly so that everyone can have time to appreciate how good
the car looks.

For an instant power gain you only need to add two thick white stripes right
down the length of the car!! Now that must be the fastest colour
