Head lights NB and a few other things

Post by bert wouda » Sun May 22, 2005 10:42 am

Hi MX 's

1)
I have a NB 1999 1.6 ( bought it a few weeks ago ) , and must say I'm quite
happy with the original headlights after I did adjusted the hight to LTSA
specs ... and have no problems seeing things , except some low flying possems
.

2)
Thanks to the people who gave me some tips regarding 91 or 96 fuel , I have
been using it now a few times on 91, and engine runs fine and smooth even
quite economical 1ltr - 12 -13 km not even long distance which is not too
bad ( It can't beat my old Diesel though, might swap engines on day !!! )
... I might try later 96 to see what difference it will make .

3)
I want to check out my wheel alignment ,... it came with lowered springs
(ex Japan) ... is there someone who do have the alignment specifications ,
or do the alignment people have those .(We live in the greater Wgton area)

4)
Are there people who have some problems with the original Left feet rest , my
left leg was not relaxed and I have modified it ...and took it out and made
just a flat piece of wood (put some carpet on it ) in the same shape as
original and fitted it on the same place as original ...much better now.

5)
Are there people who are interested in a Rollbar , I have one for sale ...I
can send people a photo of it .

Cheers
BERT

Hi Bert

For a wheel alignment, talk to Ron Scanlon at Total Performance in Petone.

HI, Karl here, I had my roll bar made and installed by Timo at octane
automotive in palmy, he does roll cages for a living and will do all the
paper work etc no problems he does either bolt in or permanent ... I think,
the only ones I have seen in mx5 are welded in if you need any info call me
on 0274827318
