Does anyone know the thread used on the temperature guage sender unit.

TG Sports, classic roadster - modern technology. NA1800, 99 head, 11:1 +2mm Wiseco pistons, Link LEM, Alloy f/wheel, JR headers.

If you are thinking of replacing it with an after market one, I have read
that on the mk1 it also sends a signal to the ecu. So unless the replacment
works the same you could upset your cold start, and fuel mix. So I think
you need to keep the oem one as well. If you are wanting the size for puttin
in a T sorry, no idea.
I left my oem one alone cut the top radiator hose and fitted in the adaptor
for a temp sender from autogaue. I think it was about $25.
I picked it up at an auto shop (road&track in lower hutt) most places that
stock auto gauge could order one for you - or they sell them on trademe for
about the same price (or a bt more)
It it called a T3.
if you go to this site and go to products, advanced search, and look for a
T3 it will show them. unfortunatly the right size only comes in blue (i
think)
