Hi All,
Some time ago I was given a BBurrago die cast model of one of my favourite
cars, (I'm not going to mention that brand again, but it's fast and English)
and it occurred to me at the time that it would be well set off by having a
nice MX5 NA, preferably Red, parked next to it on the shelf.
Can I find a die cast MX5? Well not so far anyway. Has any one ever seen a
decent one. Does anyone have one, If so, can you tell me who made it and the
model number
Thanks
Eric

If you consider bidding ask the trader to confirm the colour first. I bought
one a while ago as the picture showed a silver one, but got a white one in the
mail (Nicky you can have it, but it'll cost ya a coffee Well at least it
wasn't BRG, it would have been difficult to have found the guy and have him
killed without leaving a trail...
Cheers

I bought a RED Kyosho 1:18 some time ago on trademe for $16.00. Very nice
model complete with hardtop and stand for the hardtop. It's mounted on a
wooden base. This is used as a prize at our monthly meetings. The 'winner'
has the dubious honour of organising the next month's outing.
I bought a new Gates 1:18 BRG one for myself from a model shop in
Christchurch. Paid $40.00 for it if I remember correctly. It was cheaper
than the same thing from The Warehouse at the time. Not as detailed as the
Kyosho one (and no hard top) but still quite good. These are both NA models.
I'll now have to get an NB one seeing as I have just upgraded the one in the
garage (and it's GREEN as well although has a tan roof this time).
Now if someone can find a 1:18 model of a 1974 Mk1 Jensen-Healey then please
let me know. Prefer yellow but any colour will be great.

Have a GATES 1:18 red NA myself. Bought it from the warehouse about 5
years ago, but have never seen a red one since. Probably worth more
than my real 1:1 if I tried to sell it.

Thanks Guys,
Yes, I have seen a couple of Gates NBs. I must admit I hve never thought to
look at The Warehouse, my neighbour will kill me for saying that though, he
is the Group General Manager.
Look, if anyone happens to see a nice, red, NA, preferably 1:18 scale, I
will happily acquire it from them for a reasonable price and commission

Hi Eric,
I didn't know it was there either till a couple of weeks ago (Orewa is a nice spin on a sunny afternoon )
Its on the right hand side of the main(?) street passed the Bendon shop and slightly up hill. There's a block of shops with secondhand baby stuff and a bakery/cafe - next door to there.
Have fun )
