I've tried EBC Greenstuffs and can't really recommend them. Bit dusty to
start with (despite what their adverts say) and then annoyingly squeaky
after about 6 months. I've got a set of hardly worn EBC Green fronts
(1800) you can have if you like. Also got some half worn Mazdaspeed ones
(1600) that I only got rid of because I upgraded from 1600 front brakes
to 1800 sizes cross drilled rotors (can't remember price -trying hard to
forget!!!) 1800 caliper mounts, and kept the 1600 calipers (it's the
mounts that determine the pad size).
I now have some Trust (Greddy)pads which I got from Advanced imports a
year or so ago when they had a half price deal going. No complaints at
all so far.
Is anyone keen for a swap meet get together in the upper north island? I
bet I'm not the only person who has half a garage full of old mx5 bits
of pieces that are worth nothing to me. I'm even pretty sure the wife
would let me leave her and the baby at home for half a day if it meant
that some of my mx5 leftovers found a new home.

I joined this list because there are going to be bits i want and need for my
car, but i thought the club would have a web site or club mag you could
advertise your extra bits in.
A swap meet is a cool idea but you have to be in the area to take advantage
of it when a web site would allow national access.
I would be happy to throw something together to facilitate this if it doent
already exist ?

Hi Garry, the club does have a web site www.mx5club.org.nz and a magazine,
topDown, both of which you can advertise for sale and wanted items.
As for a swap meet I will talk to Dr Don in Hamilton re using his premises
as a venue.
Regards Nigel

Also, people are welcome to use this list for swapping stuff... I've got
a few things myself I should get rid of.
I'd be keen to try out those pads Matt - are they really that bad? I've
heard OK reports on them.
cheers
