chroming (or chromed) mirrors

Post by tim.maggie » Sat Apr 23, 2005 7:10 pm

Hi All, we have a 92 BRG - which I know you will all acknowledge as the best
and classiest colour - but of course the odd bit of enhancement doesnt hurt.

Having the mirrors chromed would work for that extra bit of sparkle. They are
plastic but you do see chromed plastic stuff - has anyone on the list had
their mirrors plated somehow or are chrome ones available from somewhere?

Info would be appreciated - thanks, Tim.

UK supplier:

but maybe cheaper to obtain direct from Japan?

Hey Tim

An awesome enhancement for your BRG MX would be... paint it... anything but
BRG... any colour even metallic green, you just can't lose. :-)

On a different note, got bored and on the spur of the moment decided to
install my Koni's, back 1st took over 1 1/2 hrs, back second about 45 mins.
Front first about 2 hrs and front second about 1 1/4 hrs. Shit of a job to do
on your own, back was easy but the front sucked and was a pain, lots of
frustrations as things go wrong (or at least not well).
