Summer drink holders... and they came factory fitted in all

Post by poison » Mon Feb 21, 2005 11:46 pm

Hi All

I can guarantee I'm not the first (and probably not in the first 1000) to do
this, but for those who haven't... (IMHO) don't waste your money on an ashtray
drink holder. First of all as soon as something even remotely tall is in it
you can't change gear without bumping the drink. It's OK for coffee cups
though as they are small. So use the factory fitted "un-official" drink
holder... read on...

I take a pump/H2go type sipper bottle with me whenever I go out it the car,
and the perfect holder is indeed factory fitted. Between the back edge of the
seats and the centre console. The bottles and even cans at a push fit like a
dream, no spill or fall out, fantastic, (unless of course you're vertically
challenged, then you have the seat too far forward and this won't work, so
you're screwed and might as well go out and get a green Jelly MX5 (Thanks Mike
LOL) and be done with it, as God is obviously out to get you).

PS: I'm looking for a small, reliable, automatic car for my girlfriend (sorry
not an MX5) in case anyone has a car they have never got around to selling...
Auckland/Hamilton/BOP. Cheers.
 Gazda in the white HOT Mazda
