Glenn, out of interest - did you get an aircon place to remove the
refrigerant? If so how much did they charge you?

Any handy tips for removing the aircon system? Did you remove
refrigerant pipes and everything?

Cheers

No charge for purge out but some places may...
No real trick to removing the air con pipes... just
make sure you use two spanners on each side of the
joiners to undo, or the pipes will just bend...
The pipes and brackets that mount around the bottom
of the radiator were tricky, as they were very
stubborn and i felt like id break the plastic radiator
before theyd move. The front heat exchanger just
dropped out infront of the rad once i'd jacked the
front up a bit.
To get the a/c pump out I had to move the power
steering pump out of the way(leave p/s hoses
connected)
Dont forget to pull out your a/c fuse out when youre
done.
