Spare Switch

My 1990 Jap roadster has a switch adjacent and to the right of the wheel
(steering) with what looks like light symbol on it. Is this intended for fogs
and, if so, it would be suitable for small 55W driving lights. Yes? Anyone
enlighten me? Would there be an accompnying relay or relay contacts
somewhere?

That sounds like the factory fog light switch. If you look into the grill
opening and feel around you may find the wiring ends for the lights. Put your
hand under the dash and see if there are wires terminated at the switch. There
will be a relay somewhere. I would have to look up my manual when I have time
and look.

Don't have my Haynes manual here, but do have a wiring diagram for 94-95
lights etc here as a .gif file. I can email it to you, but not sure how
different the earlier models are with this wiring.

Thanks zorruno. Could be a help. Knowing Japs (Honda in particular) could change from month to month!
