Hi, people,
My wife and I are thinking of buying a MX5/Eunos and have two questions.
First, what would I expect to pay for a 1990 Eunos (green), very tidy,
101,000km with hard top, soft top & tonneau? Second, what would I expect to
pay for a hardtop? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Phil

Hi,
I have a 91 BRG and follow prices closely. You would expect to pay for a
vehicle as you describe around $12,000. A hardtop on its own would be $1400 -
$2000 depending on whether the hardware came with it( bits and pieces to fit
it).

Hi Phil,
Have just bought and have been surveying prices for a while. Would agree
around $12K from a dealer would sound fair.
Sounds very like a Manukau Toyota offering??? If so, looked very tidy, but
check the boot for water - salesman said it was from waterblasting so should
have dried up by now (also some condensation under the softtop), ask for the
driver side front panel to be resprayed (its been keyed and touched up just
above the wheel). It was also idling a bit rough but has apparently been
tuned since. I'd try them on at $11.5K if you are not trading in.
Cheers,
Nig.

Thanks to Nigel & Carl for info on prices.
Is there anyone out there with a nice green machine (prefer with hardtop)
wanting a move to a bigger car?? Could be interested in doing a deal on our
1992 Toyota Windom, green over grey, 127,000km, well serviced, in very nice
condition.
Cheers,
Phil
