Has your mechanic driven your car and seen the problem ???
I have a 91 and every now and again ( and it happen 2 days ago) my car will
stall as I stop. The revs just fall back to far and it cuts out. I've had
my car serviced by several different people , none have stopped the
problem. The car runs perfectly almost all of the time , its only every now
and again this happens. It has happened in all conditions also. I have no
clues nor anyone I know. It's a very strange thing with my car because it
happens out of the blue. Can be fine for weeks , one bad run that may only
last 20 minutes (20 minutes of stalling is a very long time your realise)
and it's OK again..
Good luck , and never , EVER let a mechanic tell you it's YOUR driving.
He was'nt the guy rubbing his hands together over a full set of MX5 springs
and shocks , and of course the labour was he ??? (ha ha ha)
Cheers
Matt

usually at round-abouts. This happens regardless of whether I change down or
not before stopping. I've been running it on 91 fuel but have switched to 96
today to see if that makes any difference. Anyone got any other suggestions?
My mechanic reckons its just my driving!
