Battery, 2 year warranty

My wife just had her car battery (which is identical to the one in my MX5)
replaced last night by AA for $89 with a 2yr warranty.

seriously?! This is the price for an AGM style MX5 battery? I thought they
were at least $200?! Are you sure it is not just a sealed lead acid type -
or am I just out of touch with the prices?

I'm anything but a battery expert but it looks the same. Why not just
contact AA, tell them your horseless buggy type and see what they say?

This is a small size, sealed battery, with attachments for the gas vent? No
access at all to electrolyte?
