Airbag warning sticker (was Re: AA Vehicle Inspection Report

Hi all

Just a thought on this one.
Sam may be right about the warning.
An airbag is'nt a condition of a WOF , however because the airbag is in the
car I think you may need a warning label about the exploding baggy thingy.
I'd call someone who could confirm.

cheers

Matt

As far as I am aware it is not a WOF requirement - in fact as you don't
legally require an airbag they would not be checked at Wof, if the car was
used for business use OSH might get involved. Simple suggestion if you are
worried, find someone who has the sticker on their visor, remove visor get
a colour photocopy and get it laminated then stick to visor, probably cost
under $10 (not counting the pissing around required of course),
alternatively find a visor with sticker at a wrecker and offer them a slab!!!

Black marker pen on the dash board would do it - seriously though - is it a
WOF requirement? Sam - do you know this?

Warning label on MX5 is usually a big ugly sticker on the Sun Visor. I know
in the US that is the first thing people remove or cover up. (Mind you, lots
of people there remove the sun visors 2nd, then the air bags 3rd...)
