So, anyone take their MX-5 to the Lotus drags at Meremere last
weekend?

How'd you go?

I'd have loved to, but had other commitments...

yes Fletch i did,
and i was the only MX5 there, i was going to have a go, the weather was crap so the
strip was wet and greasy for most of the time, a 300zed wrapped his car into the
armco, so i decided to see if it would dry out a bit, couln't see the point in trying
unless it dried out to get some reasonable times, everybody was getting heaps of
wheelspin and no traction, no idea what sort of times they were getting, so i decided
i would pass and came home after lunch as it started to downpour again, caught up
with Rhys and his Lotus elise again, looked like the BMW club was there as well,

ah! well! maybe another time.
