I decided to go with the Bridgestone GIII 185/60/14 tyres for my car. Had to
pay $159.00 each, fitted and balanced, plus the wheel alignment. At least
they gave me $20.00 each for the old tyres that had a bit of tread left.
The first thing I notised was how much quieter they are than the Kumho that
were previously on the car, especially on the very coarse chip surfaces.
Thanks for the replies on this, and also the info from previous threads on
the subject convinced me it was worth paying the little extra for the
GIII's. The quietness alone was worth it.
