The weather problem on my 1992 is water in via the foam sealing strips above
the windows when parked. I do use the car as regular transport so noise etc is
important.
Currently looking at a Silver 1998, 5 speed, 67000Km, $27000.
Also 1998 , bronze/gold, 6 speed, abs, 9000Km, $29500.
Both imports both very reliable dealers.
The dilemma is the best one is the bad colour!

I'd prefer the silver for colour, but the very low kms and 6 speed box on
the Evolution Orange would be tempting. Wouldn't worry about ABS as a
deciding factor personally. Don't see very many Classic Red M2's for some
strange reason (I've only seen one). Perhaps because there are so many red
M1's that M2 owners go for all the other colours just so they have
something a bit different (in spite of the "fact" that red is the fastest
colour).

MY2CTA (not red)
PS. I did buy a red Alfa once. I'd get a red Ferrari too... (where's my
Lotto ticket?)

Have you seen the ad on the club web site.
1998 Silver 1.8, 6 speed, 89,000kms$ 22,000
twin air bags, CD Player, alarm, aircon, electric windows, alloys, new
cambelt.
You could get a lot of MX5 goodies for the $5,000 you would be saving. Cheers
