Has anyone used the Bipes ACU with their turbos/superchargers. If so are
they any good? Can you retro fit a map sensor with this ACU? Are they
avalible In NZ

Last time I checked they were only for sale in the US, Though I'm sure you could find some way of getting one if you were really determined. It looked like a very good unit and alot of guys are using them on supercharged cars in the states. I think there was an article on fitting one to a turbo'd miata in the Miata magazine a few months back.

... or the really cheap option, run retarded static timing. This is what the unmodified Greddy kit does.

Either way you need an AFPR though. (auto fuel pressure regulator)

I am wanting to get rid of the airflow meter becaeuse of its size and
replace it with a map sensor but tehy both give a diferent reading

well then, you need a MiataLink "plug-in" ECU ! :) BTW, ordering/importing stuff from the States is easy as. Affording it is the hard part :p

by the time you buy the Bipes+AFPR+HKS VPC, you coulda bought the Link anyway.

That Miata Link seems to get mentioned quite often, it must be a good unit?
