Wasn't there an email on the list a while back that mentioned Mazda filters had been reduced to a $14.95
each? I went to JA Ford in Akld and was quoted ~$20 each.

Could someone refresh my memory on this and/or offer some direction/advice/recommendation?
Thanks

$19.95 +GST :)

FYI - I use the Repco/Ryco filter + Mobil1 oil and get up to a couple of seconds of clatter on startup, depending on temperature and how long the car has been sitting (not long normally!). Will pick up a Mazda filter next time.

Sorry folks, I've not had access to the net for a while so I haven't followed
the filter thing.
I have checked an old genuine Mazda filter I had, it is a Jap sourced item and
as such I believe they are high quality. So I don't know if there is an
advantage going to Mobil 1. What do you think?
