Great stuff! Quite hard work as it's a 3 step process, but I haven't found
better. I do a full 3 step wax once or twice a year and a maintenance wax
when I feel like it, maybe once every 2 months.

They also have a great product called Quick Detailer (A spay on pack ) give
quick spray and wipe off - instant polish as long as the car is clean to
start with (ideal for just before a club run or going to the car fair - it
is the same style of product used on car yards but with retail packaging.

Remember, Meguiars have a whole range of products...
Like #40 for the vinyl soft-top and #10 & 17 (I think?) to polish and clean
your plastic rear window...
But, they have two different ranges...
The "professional" range, which comes in beige bottles and the "consumer"
range in purple bottles...
The consumer three-step process is #1, #2, #3... cleaner, polish, wax.
The professional "three" step range is somewhat variable depending on the
exact needs and condition of your cars paint, but might typically consist of
#2 fine-cut cleaner, (a different #2 than the consumer range), #7 Show-Car
Glaze (which returns oils to the paint to make a "permanent wet-look"), and
#26 carnauba wax. You might want to use #9 swirl-remover instead of or as
well as fine-cut cleaner, and you could substitute one of the newer
technology polymer protections (number unknown) for the "old-world" natural
wax if you wanted...
Dont take the condition of my car as an indication of how well these
products work I haven't used any in about two years as I'm lazy, and
what car-time I have, I prefer to spend on maintenance and making it go
better... looking better is down on my priorities... but it IS good
stuff...
Fletch.

Is this the stuff they spray under bonnet as well.
I have been looking for something safe to use, at the moment its all
hard work, and my engine bay is shiny new, but I want something that
will get rid of any muck in the corners and those "hard to get at places"
Anyone used anything they would recommend?

Ok I'll ask the obvious question: "Wonder if we can do a club discount?"
I've checked out the website and not only are there heaps of products,
but also heaps of outlets. In looking at the addresses and the
associated companies it appears they have a distribution centre in Well
and ChCh and HO as usual in Aulk.
All the marine products are distributed by The So-Pac Group on 09 489
8800, and the HO details are:

Fax: (09) 274-0991
Freephone: 0800-227-422
I would do it, but in the past, (yep tried b4) a local contact seems to
get further (I'm in ChCh).
Just a suggestion <as he now ducks for cover>
