Bent A piller

The local Panel beater has a MX5 that has rolled and the front Piller is bent about 20 deg. He has asked me if I know what is inside the A piller.
Does anyone know and can these can be repaired.

G'day, the roof was up at the time and its pretty stuffed. Ripped in quite
a few palces and the metal stays were bent. its in Palmerston North.
