I have developed a sudden interest in hard tops. Can anyone tell me, if a
roll bar that will fit under an opening and closing soft top with no more than
a couple of millimetres to spare, will also fit under a hard top, assuming of
course that all hard tops are the same.
Cheers
Rex

Some roll bars fit under the tops, and some dont... Hard-dog, an American
company selling pre-made (rather than custom) roll bars offers Hard top models
separately from their normal range. I dont know what the exact difference
is...
One issue, aside from height, is whether you can still access the side latches
on the hard-top.

don't need the side latches for the hard top. Perfectly fine without them
however, in saying that - I bought the latches today from Mazda - on special
this month... so I can't argue that point anymore.
Clive G got his roll bar custom made to fit under his hard top - just
barely. Maybe he can measure his for you (he's not on the list)
