Flywheel

Hi Guys
I wonder if anyone have any experience with a lightened flywheel on a MX5.
I modified a Fiat 131 Mirafori many years ago, and the effect I got was a
significant faster acceleration from standstill(good as it was a rallycross
car) but at the same time you felt as you had lost some torque when going
uphill. Is it the same feeling with a MX5
The only mod.at the MX5 is a coldair intake,K&N filter and freeflowing
exhaust.

It is a "homemade"CAI following the old NASCAR principe by taking the air from
the pressure area by the firewall.
