Mike! you must really PUSH your car if you feel you need those tyres!!!I slide my car and eat all those silly Hondas on a set of 195/50R15 82H tyres that were fitted new for $100ea and they're good in the wet too!!!I feel those big brand tyres are over priced and no better than most in the real world...on a track they'd be tenths of seconds infront or behind each other and my HMF Highways(which are a Michelin copy and carry a 5 year guarantee!!!0h shop around...

discussion on the topic.

I'm looking at swapping my stock standard alloys for some 15" rims with a
set of 195-50-15 tyres. I'm wanting to spend around $200 per tyre.

My choices seem to be:

1. Bridgestone ?
2. Dunlop Formula 901
3. Goodyear Super Ducaro F1
4. Toyo T1-S

Beaurepaires and Tony's Tyre Service both recommend Dunlop, but say it's
noisy (but not as noisy as the previous Dunlop Formula W10)

The Bridgestone was "older" technology.

The Toyo was meant to wear out faster. I also saw a mention on one of the
other lists about potential "shimmy".

Your comments/observations would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mike
