CAI tinkering...

Post by jeff » Thu Jan 17, 2002 12:14 pm

anyone know how to raise the headlight an inch or so
*and* have the headlights still work? I can only do it
by pulling the fuse, but it must be possible since I
remember seeing someone else do this at the Pukekohe
track day...

it's a bit of a "ricey" look I know, but I thought i'd
try and see if it makes any difference with
knock/timing :D

Why don't you just install a headlight lid with an air scoop in it (Ross at Mx5Mart has got them) if you're only after a bit more cold air. They don't half look mean either!.

requires circuitry. Simplest would be a custom mount limit switch or
possibly timing? A couple of people in the US have done it. Karl - you
busy? :) (Maybe a microprocessor somewhere?)
