So your mate gave you a shitty jamex bucket seat and you want it in your car asap? heres how i did it
1. Shitty Seat
2. Mounts.
3. Flat steel bars with holes, bolted to seat.
4. Rails bolted to flat steel.
5. Bolted into car.
6. Heaps of room on either side!
7.????
8. Profit!

Shhhhhhh that was installing an amp with no fuses and lines direct to the battery... Asking to catch fire
And Kieran, your car is taking the opposite path to my car. I'm trying to make the car have less unsprung weight

I jump started another car yesterday. Its always nice to help someone in need and it helped justify the purchase of new jumper leads from the week before.

Nice! What's the height like compared to the factory seat? I've heard other buckets can end up sitting you higher.

15x9 -4 isn't that bad I'm going to run as little camber as possible with a 225/45R15 and those wheels aren't very heavy with a turbo it will be fine

That pic shows a 15x7 +35 with a flipped centre disk which makes it 15x7 -35
I will flip it back replace the front lips with 4 inch lips making them roughly 15x9 -10 which pokes the same as the 15x7 -35
I "only" have to find about 80mm of space under the guards to fit them

Cheers! This particular seat gets you lower by a few cm's, it could be lower if you bolted it directly to the floor without the rails, but i wanted some sliding action.

Well yeah, sliding action is always wanted in an mx5!
