Eunos Roadster of Initial D stance.

Post by Furai » Sun Feb 19, 2012 6:37 pm

Thought I would show off my Roadster. Its got "Initial D" Stance, so I can gutter run and such.

It may be lowered but first I want slightly more offset Watanabes not Black Racing copies.

Had a tidy up and put my Leather Nardi on instead of the wood one.

I'm sorry, but what is "Initial D stance"?

I don't know why you'd want to gutter run, having been to and driven on Haruna (Akina) in an NB Roadster myself, I don't know why you'd want to try it in real life.

Sounds like you'd want slightly less offset - higher offset goes into the guards, not out from! My only advice when choosing wheels is to be careful with weight, as MX-5 wheels are particularly lightweight from the factory, and aftermarket wheels - even "lightweight" options - may be noticeably heavier.

Ah so YOU'RE the one from Old School. A couple of us have been having whispered conversations about having another MX5 cruise, you should come along!
Cool sunroof bro...

Im just kidding about the gutter running,
Initial D stance is just a nickname I came up with for not slammed into the ground stance

Im keen for a cruise! As long as its not too far, Moneyz are tight at the moment.

Function over form is no laughing matter! I like to strike a balance, hence why my car is sitting 70mm off the ground rather than 20mm off the ground :D

We've had a couple of very spirited drives out in the Waitakere Ranges/Bethell's Beach way, always good to have another car join the fun.

I like the initial d "not so low" stance. Also I like the idea of going for a cruise but I can only do Friday/Saturday nights.

Yeah would be a night time cruise no doubt, similar to the last one. I'll talk to Zac and Mike and see if we can arrange one in a couple of weeks time.

Cert is booked in for tomorrow, so everything going to plan a couple of weeks ahead will be all legit from me.

Just not sure how much my car will like bumpy roads with the suspension set up :P
